Hello,
we use a 3rd party anti-spam service to filter out spam before it reaches our mail server. since we moved to office 365, we want to continue to use this service and NOT use the Microsoft Exchange Online Protection (EOP). I have added the IP of our 3rd party spam checker to the connection filter in office 365 but want to know if this is the correct way to bypass EOP. without using connection filter, I found that we were getting a lot of false positives, emails being put in the junk mail folder because they were failing SPF checks i.e. email comes @gmail.com but because it's routed through our 3rd party anti-spam service, the domain does not match the verified domain.
any ideas?
btw, please do NOT move this post. I posted a similar query before and someone moved it to an office 2013 forum.
